CODE OF CONDUCT
It is the sole responsibility of any and all participants to fully know, understand and abide by ALL ELITE HOCKEY RULES, Policies and Porocedures
PLAYERS/PARTICIPANTS
*ELITE HOCKEY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE PARTICIPATION TO ANYONE, FOR ANY REASON, AT ANY TIME!!!!
* ELITE HOCKEY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REMOVE ANY AND ALL PLAYERS, AT ANY TIME, WITHOUT REFUND, TO PARTICIPANTS THAT CONDUCT THEMSELVES IN A MANNER FOR WHICH..........
- Poses a threat to players, themselves, staff, rink staff or spectators in the league
- Poses a threat to the integrity of the league
- is not conducive with safe and fair play.
- does not comply with the rules and regulations of the league, as well as our ZERO TORANCE POLICY.
ALTERCATIONS
**In the event of an altercation of any kind, all players WILL remove themselves from the area of altercation immediately for de-escaltion purposes. Players WILL NOT take it upon themselves to assist and or try and stop the altrercation. Players will be responsible for themselves in this situation. In the event others enter, (3rd man in rules)
become involved, or in any way contribute to the altercation, they will be removed from the leagues. Important to point out is that in the event players leave thier bench during an altercation, that team and all its members can and will be expelled from the leagues. (Players who abide by this and stay on the bench will be given opportunity to plead their case after 24 hours) It is the duty and responsibily of every participant to know and fully understand all rules, policies and procedures for Elite Hockey.
*Goalies will remain in their goal crease during an altercation. In the event the altercation is anywhare in the vacinity of the goal crease, it is the responsibilty of the goaltender to go to the bench while staying clear from any other players.
*Altercations near or on the benches - Players will immediately leave the area of altercation and exit the bench calmly and responsibly and go to locker room.
Parents / Spectators
*Any and all Parents / Guardians of Players / Spectators shall abide by the following, or will be removed from the premises immediately
- Parents/Guardians of players / Spectators will abide by the following -
- conduct themselves with appropriate behavior, ensuring a safe, respectful and positive environment while on the premises for any and all ELITE HOCKEY activities.
- treat Elite Staff, Rink Staff, and other spectators on the property with respect, prohibiting harrassment or violence, and will follow safety protocols, and will model good sportsmanship.
- Will not approach, or make negative comments / gestures to, and or about, Elite Staff, Rink Staff, or other spectators while on the premises.
- Will refrain from contacting Elite Hockey, Rink Staff or Elite participants, for 24 hours ( League policy - 24 hour cool down period) after an incident or concern.
- Will not be permitted to record any type of audio, or video, unless given written permission by Elite Hockey.
- Will not exhibit Defamatory or Threatening behavior in any way, towards Elite Staff, Rink Staff, or anyone else on the premises.
- Will not interfere with games, or approach staff/coaches/rink staff during the game, before or after, or exhibit unacceptable behavior toward coaches while on the premises. (24 hour cool down period rule)
- Will promote and exhibit behavior that focuses on respect and fun over winning.
ELITE HOCKEY LEAGUES will operate, govern and enforce its leagues under a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY! Our commitment to ensuring safety and fair play is our number one priority. Elite Hockey will enforce this Zero Tolerance policy on all matters. Our policy is one in which allows us to put forth a league where unnacceptable conduct will not be tolerated, and the maximum penalties can, and will be, enforced by the league. ZERO TOLERANCE for any and all unnacceptable conduct means players will be penalized to the maximum degree for any and all infractions/unnacceptable behaviors incurred !
~ Ignorance and lack of common sense is no excuse for unnacceptable behavior.
- Refunds are are only given under certain circumstances. Refunds are NOT given in situations involving incidents, behavioral violations, etc....
